Louise York is Head of the Community Services Group at the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. This group is responsible for developing, collecting, and analysing national data in the areas of people with disability, older Australians, and victims and perpetrators of family, domestic and sexual violence. Louise has led this group since January 2017 and has over 25 years’ experience in the developing evidence about the health and welfare of Australians. Louise has a particular interest in improving aged care information and statistics as a key enabler for supporting the aged care sector and improving outcomes for older people in Australia.
