« Back to Glossary IndexThe Aged Care Industry IT Council (ACIITC) was formed by the two industry Peak bodies Leading Age Services Australia (LASA) and Aged and Community Services Australia (ACSA) in 2007 with the express intent of providing the industry with a vehicle to consider and debate IT related opportunities and to disseminate the lessons learned from that process to the wider aged care industry.
Aged Care Industry Information Technology Council (ACIITC) has merged operations with the Aged and Community Care Providers Association.
The knowledge and resources developed by ACIITC will remain accessible to the aged care industry through the Aged and Community Care Providers Association InnovAGEING program.
As we close this chapter, we want to express our gratitude to all who have contributed to ACIITC’s endeavours. Your passion and dedication have been instrumental in our success.
We trust that the Aged and Community Care Providers Association will continue our legacy with Dr George Margelis as their Chief Technology Advisor, providing the aged and community care industry with a platform to consider and debate innovation and technology-related opportunities will continue.
