Collection and use of your personal information
We usually collect personal information from you or your authorised representative through our websites and social networking services such as LinkedIn and Twitter, from our website or other online tools. Data captured regarding your IP address and tracking information will only be used to validate the effectiveness of the media used to promote the ACIITC activities.
We use MailChimp to manage our mailing lists. When subscribing to one of our mailing lists, you will be asked to give your express consent that MailChimp may use your data for analytics purposes.
Your personal information will not be shared with other parties.

Terms of Reference for Prize
CARE-IT Survey Terms and Conditions
Entry to this draw is open to current Australian Aged and Community Care organisations who receive an email invitation to participate in this survey. Each entry must be entered in accordance with these terms and conditions. By entering this draw, each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. Aged Care Industry Information Technology Council (ACIITC) in its discretion may refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these terms and conditions. Survey participants will only be entered into the prize draw after completing the CARE-IT Industry survey.
Entry into this draw is free.
To be eligible to enter this draw, all entrants must complete the CARE-IT Industry Survey, from 1 May to 5 June 2020 5:00pm AEST. Incomplete or incomprehensible responses will be ineligible for acceptance into the draw. This is the only method of entry into this draw.
By entering this draw and participating in CARE-IT Survey entrants consent to the ACIITC collecting personal information. This draw may, for these purposes, disclose that information to third parties including the prize suppliers and, if required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry to this draw is conditional on entrants providing this information. The ACIITC may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised by an entrant, use the information for personal marketing, research, profiling and publicity purposes, including sending email to, or telephoning, entrants. Entrants should contact the ACIITC if they wish to access, update or correct their personal information. For more information, please visit the Privacy webpage.
Only one entry per completed survey will be entered with the winning entries being drawn at random after 5 June 2020. Winners will be notified via their email account within thirty working days with information included on how and where to collect their prize. The draw is being held by ACIITC using a random number generator. All decisions made in relation to this prize draw are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
There is a limit of one entry per organisation. Members of ACIITC or vendors are not eligible to enter.
Each entrant warrants to the ACIITC that his or her entry is complete and accurate.
This draw expires on 5 June 2020 5:00pm AEST.
Any entry received after expiry of the competition period will be invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries. All entries become the property of the ACIITC and will not be returned.
Winners of the draw will be announced on the ACIITC newsletter and on the ACIITC CARE-IT Industry Survey’s webpage.
The ACIITC reserves the right to make a different prize award or no award if they are not satisfied with the draw process.
If anything occurs that prevents or hinders the ACITTC ability to conduct the draw or to deliver the prize to the prize winner, the ACIITC may, in its discretion, cancel the draw or recommence it at another time under the same terms and conditions or select another winner.
ACIITC is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information or other errors (whether technical or otherwise) that may occur in the course of conducting this draw. The ACIITC accepts no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
To the full extent permitted by law, the ACIITC will not be liable for any injury, damages, expenses, or loss whatsoever (whether direct or inconsequential) to persons or property as a result of any person entering into the draw or accepting or using the prize.
ACIITC reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of any entry or claim for the prize (including, without limitation, identity and other personal details of the entrant).
Any entrant who submits an entry or claim for the prize that is false or is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or who tampers with the draw process in any way, will be disqualified.
Entrants consent to the ACIITC using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in any media (including photographs, film or sound recordings) for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this draw (and any outcome) and promoting the ACIITC or its products and services.
By entering this draw, each entrant releases ACIITC, its directors, officers, employees and agents from, and indemnifies each of them against, any and all liability or any loss, damage or injury of any kind arising from or in connection with this draw or the prize.
By entering this draw, entrants who are students will be eligible to win the major prize of 2 full delegate passes to ITAC 2021 conference. Travel and accommodation is excluded.
The wining organisation, must identify to company delegates to attend the conference and ACIITC will register on their behalf and issues the tickets as soon as registrations are open. Prizes cannot be claimed after that date.
No prize can be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. If the prize becomes unavailable, the ACIITC reserves the right to substitute a product of equal value or specification, subject to any applicable laws or written directions from a regulatory authority.
