Aged Care on FHIR

The Aged Care Industry Information Technology Council (ACIITC) will be hosting the next National Forum on Tuesday 29 September 2020 10:00 AM AEST. The forum will focus on health care data exchange from the clinical perspective, specifically Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR).

Four speakers will provide a perspective on health care and why FHIR is important:

  • Dr George Margelis, Chair, Aged Care Industry Information Technology Council
  • Mr Grahame Grieve, Consultant, Health Interoperability Standards, FHIR Product Directory
  • Professor Len Gray, Director of Centre for Health Services Research (CHSR), Faculty of Medicine, University of Queensland
  • Mr Steven Strange, MSIA Representative  

A Q&A with the panel of speakers will provide an opportunity for attendees to pose questions and share ideas on the topic of health care data exchange in the care sector.

Dr Margelis invites the Aged and Community Care industry services, innovators and technology providers to attend this important forum, “Service Providers and Technology Vendors are encouraged to join ACIITC in our free online forum.
